As a self motivated workaholic, I have a little different outlook on real estate.  Not only do I get results for my clients, I work hard to turn buying or selling a house into a pleasant process.

With a knack for seeing clear answers for the many questions that arise throughout the duration of every real estate transaction, my clients always know what is going on.  I have always been good at solving problems and I strive to make the process fun.  In my opinion, buying a house should be fun and selling a house should be a time for looking forward to life’s next big adventure.

By paying attention to every detail and using clear and timely communication, my client’s anxieties are gone and problems are prevented.

By using the latest tools technology has to offer, my client’s can be assured of top notch communication, up to date market statics and area information. Would you like your market analysis delivered as an iPad presentation? Do you want to communicate only by text message? Do you want all your documents delivered electronically? Electronic Signature, not a problem, I will do that and more.

I grew up in a large family in the rolling hills of Missouri, the daughter of a Baptist minister and one of the youngest of 8 children. That hard to find “mid-western” work ethic was instilled in me from birth.  My family has always worked collectively to serve the needs of others as long as I can remember. My upbringing and strong family ties helped me refine my skills in customer service with an emphasis on service.

At 19 I moved to San Francisco where I began working for a large Bank and later served as a manager for the elite British Bankers Club. This exposure to a very international customer base is where I fine tuned my skills in service, marketing, time management, dispute resolution and problem solving. San Francisco was a long way from the small town in Missouri and this was a very different pace of life. I loved it, but it wasn’t long before the confines and restrictions of a 9-5 job didn’t fit with my ambition and drive. I wanted something I could make my own.

When I met my husband and moved to Los Angeles in 1986 I decided to get my real estate license and become my own boss. The rest is history. In just a few short years I reigned as one of the top real estate agents in the Los Angeles area. My specialty was beachfront properties where the average sales price was $650,000.

When my two little girls were born, I knew I wanted to raise them in a different environment. Once I saw Tampa, the search was over and I knew I had found my new home.

Selling real estate for over 25 years I have learned to embrace technology and appreciate being able to communicate with clients “their way.”  When I began in real estate, it was a time when cell phones didn’t exist, there where no fax machines and we had no computers! Each week realtors had to wait for the Multiple Listing Book to be delivered to the office and we all had to share it.  Technology has come a long way and so have I.  Embracing each new tool and incorporating them into how I run my business is part of the reason I have found such success.  I use common sense as the cornerstone of my real estate practice. In today’s world about 90% of all buyers begin their search for a home online, I take the time to post extensive photos and descriptions of my listings on my site and in MLS.  Having premiere memberships to multiple real estate portals gives my clients extra exposure on the syndicated sites such as; Zillow, Realtor.com and Craigslist to name a few.  Even in today’s world I don’t overlook the power of print. Because some buyers are still better reached through traditional methods, I use tools such as full page print ads and direct mail to keep my clients in the Tampa area up to date on recent sales and new listings in the area.

When I am not busy with buyers or sellers, my escape is to another world, one which focuses on my husband and two daughters. My husband Mike retired in 2009.  He is not one to sit idol so he became a licensed realtor and serves as a major support to my entire team. My daughters Megan and Kelsey have the same “self starter” attitude. Megan graduated from the University of South Florida and serves as a manager/instructor for a large yoga institute with locations world wide. Kelsey lives in Los Angeles and has been very successful in the entertainment industry as a comedian/writer. Mike and I enjoy our feline family of 3 cats and a 2 year old terrier mix, Moxy, who seems to run the house.

When I take those rare breaks from work I love to play golf. Since I am competitive in whatever I do and strive to be the best, it is not surprising that I have had two hole in ones. My first hole in one was at Pebble Beach on the signature 7th hole. My 2nd hole in one was at a local course in Tampa.
